Christmas at the Kirkbrides

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!! No snow in sight, but lots of presents under the tree. I'm out of school and have spent the entire day wrapping gifts......finally finished!! Lisa and Kelley and children left Houston at 4:00 pm today and will spend the night past Shreveport somewhere. They should be here early tomorrow afternoon.

Here are the first of our Christmas pictures. Austin and Krista Peace at the Christmas Carol and the Nutcracker. Aren't they beautiful!!! We're very proud.

David and his family will leave from Denison early tomorrow and we're looking forward to seeing his clan. I hope there are presents for everyone under the tree!!!! Ty has had pneumonia, but has improved. We're hoping he'll be well by the time they get here so he'll be able to enjoy everything.

Doloris and Rick Williams (Lowell's sister and her husband) will be arriving Thurs and will be in the hotel until the others leave that day. I KNOW that Doloris will help me put things back in order. I've told her that we'll spend most of our time relaxing on the couch. They'll be in Nashville with Doug and his family for Christmas.

Vail's children and grands are coming at various times. Billy- tonight, Jennifer- tomorrow and Michael- Sun. They'll be leaving at different times, also. Matthew is leaving the day after Christmas to visit friends in Africa. Jennifer will be staying at Vail's for another week. I think Billy has to work the 26th and Michael may be here until Thurs.

We'll all be together Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We're eating at the student center this year 24th and 25th since there'll be 28 of us. Mother is pteparing the turkey, dressing, boiled custard and squash casserole and we're bringing the rest. We're hoping this will be easier on her.

I'll try to do better at blogging.....never seems to be enough time. Have a very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!!!!
